This year’s Chinese New Year celebration at Winston Engineering was extra special, as we had an incredible reason to cheer—our colleague, Ms Serena Ong participated in
Mediacorp GOLD905’s Prosperity Toss Giveaway! The contest invited participants to share, in 100 words or less, what they were thankful for this Lunar New Year and their most creative Year of the Snake greeting. Serena’s heartfelt and imaginative entry wowed the judges, earning her the coveted title and adding a golden touch to our festive season.
The excitement didn’t stop there. GOLD905’s popular radio hosts, Denise Tan and Mike Kasem, paid us a visit to commemorate Serena’s win and join in the prosperity toss festivities. The atmosphere at our office on Joo Koon Way was electric as Denise, Mike, and our management team led the celebratory toss alongside Serena and our colleagues. The colorful ingredients soared high, symbolizing abundance, success, and unity for the year ahead.

The event brought back fond memories of a similar occasion exactly five years ago when Denise and Mike first graced us with their presence for another lively prosperity toss. It felt like a beautiful full-circle moment, connecting our past and present in a meaningful celebration of camaraderie and good fortune.
