At Winston Engineering, we believe in working hard and playing even harder! Just two months ago, our company trip to Thailand was nothing short of spectacular! From bustling cities to serene landscapes, our two groups of staffs spent 5 days and 4 nights soaking up everything Thailand had to offer. Here’s a recap of our fun-filled adventure!
Day 1: Touchdown in Bangkok and Off to Kanchanaburi!
(Our Thailand tour guide, Ah “kong”)

The evening was spent bonding over delicious local Thai cuisine and, of course, some friendly team banter! We ended the day resting at the Felix River Kwai Resort.
After a brief stroll and some shopping along the street, we continued our journey to Malika City. At Malika City, we dressed in traditional Siamese attire and used ancient city currency for our purchases.

We immersed ourselves in the traditional Siamese lifestyle, learning how rice and sugar were made from sugar cane using age-old methods.
We also enjoyed a lunch featuring authentic Thai dishes, adding to the cultural experience.

Afterward, we headed to Chocolate Ville, a lively spot with a Halloween theme where many visitors were dressed in festive Halloween costume. We enjoyed our dinner there, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere.
Day 4: Off to Pattaya – Sun, Sea, and Sand
We then enjoyed a delicious seafood lunch by the seaside, savouring fresh flavours with a stunning view.

The highlight of the day was a yacht trip to Monkey Island, where we got up close with the playful monkeys in their natural habitat. As the day came to an end, we watched a breath-taking sunset from the yacht, capping it off with a memorable dinner surrounded by the beauty of the open sea.
Afterward, we made our way back to Bangkok for one last stop at the iconic Icon Siam. This massive shopping complex was the perfect finale to our trip. With options to shop for luxury goods, admire the mall’s stunning architecture, or enjoy one last taste of authentic Thai cuisine, Icon Siam truly had something for everyone.
